Sephardim are special in their spirituality. I was once on a tour in Israel and we were eating in the hotel and a Sephardi guy came over to our group and asked if we'd be davening Mincha soon. Totally non-religious appearance include that bowl cut and tattoos up and down his arms. We said "Yes, probably at 1:15." "Okay," he said. "Ktores at 1:05 and then we start!" We got to the hotel shul and he was already there reciting the ktores with such passion, it was inspiring.
