He was always very friendly to me (I was a teenager when I visited my older brother for a summer) and always gave good advice. <br /><br />I really didn't have any contact with him after his second marriage, but I heard of some of the controversies that he had later on and some of the hurtful things that he said to half-Jews who didn't know that they were not Jewish under Orthodox Jewish rules. <br /><br />In any event, I am saddened to hear of his death.
