A new system has just been installed in 770 informing if there is a Choson in shul, so you would know if you have to say Tachnun or not.
If you are a Choson during sheva brochos, you are kindly asked to walk up to the umud and choose the amount of time you will be in 770 and the light will remain on till you leave. In an event that you leave earlier you can go and shut it off.
I respect most of your work & I certainly don't care to protect R' Moshe H. as I'm not too fond of his work in Kashrus.
However for the sake of TRUTH, and as you probably know and definitely should know Rabbi Moshe H has retracted his opinion quite some time ago. His reasoning wasn't really off he just didn't undertand or was misinformed on the nature of the technology. In any case he retracted, so why are you Publishing his original psak?
why mislead the public? If I knew you are misleading me with R' Moshe H how do I knowe that your not misleading me about Kolko?
If I remember the earlier posts on this topic...I think the point is that the Rabbi issued his psak without understanding clearly the nature of the technology and that psak caused financial harm to Yidden. From what I have heard over the years about Poskim like a Rav Moshe, Zatzal, he always made sure he understood the ins and outs of the science behind the question before issuing a psak. Seems logical to me. Shouldn't we expect our Rabbis to give us well researched and reasoned responses to our questions?
I announced a very long time ago that Heinemann retracted his psak----because he was shamed into doing it. He insisted he was right until someone contacted the Wall Street Journal....then he ran and came out with a retraction!
I'd like to think that if I was going before a judge asking him to settle an issue beyween myself and another party, the judge would do a little research and make sure he understands the law and the cases before rendering a decision.
Why hasn't someone investigated the fifth grade Rebbe at Torah temimah? he covered up his son's molestation within his own family. Now the molester is married with children. What do you think he may be doing to his own children? Should a rebbe who protects a molester because he is a family member be worthy of teaching young children?

copy & paste,
Um, the top letter looks like you did a poor job of cutting and pasting some letterhead on another piece of paper.
ReplyDeleteBogus.
Between that and the NIRC diatribe you posted, you seem to be running out of material mister.
UOJ,

Shouldn't Rabbis have to do the same thing?
Why hasn't someone investigated
