One of the victims, a primary physician, was a friend in college, meeting early in our freshman year and staying friendly to graduation. He's the first murder victim I have ever personally. He also had no children, according to the obits, though he was married and has a brother. I do know know if all of the other ten victims has somebody to say kaddish for them, but in case any of them don't, we all should.
