I am outraged. You, Williamsburg community activist Isaac Abraham, are calling mayor a moron? You are a moron yourself! Come on, ladies and gentlemen (and all politically-correct undecided), measles vaccines have existed for years! If you don't want to use the vaccine made by company X, use the one made by company Y! The claims this lunatic makes are despicable! It's already in the second chapter of Avos: והוי מחשב הפסד מצוה כנגד שכרהה ושכר עבירה כנגד הפסדה -- Show me a kid who became autistic after a proper measles vaccine, while I can show you all horrible complications, even death, in unvaccinated kids! Crazy and sick fanatics! Read the comments under his rant at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=touQwQ9Vt-Y and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4Oqhlo1FRU: The majority of insane wild housewives and hysterical conspiracists support this madness! No wonder the presidents and politicians we choose are crooks -- when they are voted in by such sick nation!
Rav Eliyashev z"l said that everyone should vaccinate and even though there are possible problems it is a dovor shedoshu bo rabbim and is therefore considered safe and all need to do it for their own good and the good of the public
Throughout the history of Jewish people, there have always been fake seers who predicted the coming of Mashiach (Messiah): Jewish religionists believe that anyone who does not await Mashiach does not have a share in the world to come. Wikipedia lists more than two dozen Jewish men who claimed to be Mashiach(s). Unfortunately, messiahs do not pop up on their own — someone has to believe in their fraudulent claims and actively promote them (as Nathan of Gaza advocated for Sabbatai Zevi). Quite recently we saw men like Yitzhak Kaduri and Chaim Kanievsky who preached the imminent coming of Mashiach. Of course, that never happened. As a person who left Orthodox Judaism, I know that Mashiach will never come (naturally, I also do not believe that I have [or ever had] a share in some world to come). Messiah is a fairy tale of humanity, "the opiate of the masses," as Karl Marx said about religion. Chaim Kanievsky viciously exploits the belief in Messiah: He makes predictions that never come true, he then "forgets" what he said, he is never held accountable for his concocted divinations, and his followers always say that Mashiach does not come not because Chaim Kanievsky lies but because Jews are sinful. So, Jews must "repent" and give even more money to him and/or "causes" Chaim Kanievsky "supports." So, to answer your question, We Want Moshiach Now, "where to find Moshiach," the answer is simple — nowhere but in the brains of zealots.

Detroit's Measles Message
ReplyDeleteCould you please explain to us, UOJ, where to find Moshiach? Rav Chaim Kanievsky recently said that “Moshiach will already be here before the [Israeli April 9] elections.” Since our leader of the Jewish nation could not err, Moshiach must be somewhere. Where is Fiveish?
