Agudath
Israel of California represents the Orthodox Jewish community in the
State, including more than 25 Orthodox Jewish day schools with over 7000
students in an effort to reopen K-12 schools for face to face learning
in the fall. The Orthodox Jewish community fully understands the threat
of the COVID -19 virus in the State of California. We place safety first
in any action we take.
During the first months of the pandemic our community experienced hospitalizations, the need for long term ventilator care, and even death. Our community took strong action to follow governmental guidelines. In May we were able to reopen synagogues adhering to the state and county protocols. In July, we opened day camps, again following state and county guidelines. To date, we have had no infection traceable to our synagogues or day camps. (Flat Out Lie!)
Sadly, we have not been able to reopen our schools. From March until the end of the academic year, our students, like all students throughout the State, participated in distance learning only. Each of our schools invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in a heroic effort to obtain the necessary technology, set up and train users, and to implement a robust distance learning program.
Despite these efforts, our educators feel, as do educators throughout the State, that the distance learning model was not successful. The thought of limiting instruction to home based computer learning in the coming academic year is untenable. The model is an academic failure and a financial impossibility. Many prominent physicians, including pediatricians, agree that schools can be safely opened for face to face learning if proper guidelines are followed.
We applaud the Governor’s inclusion of a waiver option in the State guidelines that would allow an elementary school to petition to reopen. We strongly contend that the waiver process should be expanded to secondary grades. There is no conclusive science to make such an arbitrary distinction. (ANOTHER LIE)
It should also be possible for a consortium or group of schools to batch their applications and submit them together.
Agudath Israel of California wants all Californians to stay safe and healthy. Part and parcel of that is to enable our children to learn. It is imperative to allow those willing to take the necessary steps to ensure a safe learning environment, the ability to reopen schools for the coming academic year, for face to face instruction.

What are the real numbers of K-12 yeshivos & students that are Agudah affiliated or even remotely on the same page as the Agudah in Calif.?
ReplyDeleteSurely not anywhere close to 25 and 7000!
Not even when including play groups as part of kindergarten.
"We place safety first in any action we take."
ReplyDeleteAin lecha Agudah Fresser Sheker Gadol mizu!
YWN Fool Eckstein was cheering when the Antwerpen mosdos reopened 2 months ago.
ReplyDeleteConsider the following ...
Belgium has the highest per capita rate of virus infection of any country in the world.
Antwerpen has the highest rate within Belgium.
The Yidden probably have the highest rate within Antwerpen.
Belgium was already a notoriously anti-Semitic population, even more so than France, and the virus in the kehilla has been a major contention point of aivah
In a recent interview with the Ivrit news site "Chazit", Antwerp's Rav Yisroel Miller says he instructed his family stay home from yeshivos altz the obvious danger.
Eckstein appears to be trying to belittle Rav Miller as a much ado about nothing kind of guy by suggesting only a small number of Yidden actually died. Eckstein you FOOL! How do you know what kind of life infected survivors will live long term with damaged organs & blood cells? Stop sitting there like a stooge being spoonfed Agudah-Philly propaganda!
They all gave to Kupat Ha'Ir, so they are all immune to the CoronaVirus.
ReplyDeleteAnother 1200 infected 0-17 year old children in 24 hours! Up to 43,880.

ReplyDeleteCuomo should have stuck to denying all the Fresser blather instead of trying to score Progressive points with #59.
Eric Garner? Please! That fat ferd was breaking the law and the responding officer followed protocol that was only changed after all the protests. Even the Obama DOJ couldn't incriminate the officer, for crying out loud.
George Floyd himself is in that sug. There were police officers who were shot yesterday because a criminal was able to grab & fire a gun at them despite already being handcuffed.
This is just the manifestation of what the Maharal warned was coming in his chiddushei Agados to Bava Basra 15 or 16: all law & order will break down b'ikvesa d'Meshicha.
A victim writes on a frumma women's forum that her molester had shaychus with the Brisker lamdan R' Shimshon Pinkus who was very perceptive & started warning him he is having too much association with the girl, stay away from her. Sadly, that was just before Rav Pinkus was killed in a tragic car accident. Rav Pinkus was known for his tzidkus & his seforim have become very popular.
ReplyDeleteThe same thread has complaints from victims of Rabbi Ezriel Tauber. Seems he was running around the globe without his wife looking to shmooz with girls & veiber everywhere, including retreats at hotels. For frumma women with tzorus he told them he will "rescue" them to make them feel safe. For BT candidates he told them he will "work through their heart" and started crossing one boundary after another.
Seems like Tauber was a pillar & major fundraiser for Or Sameach Monsey. No wonder why that place has protected molesters including a serial date rapist BT from Passaic.

ReplyDeleteOU's Rabbi Yair Hoffman covering up for molesters
Not surprising whatsoever as Hoffman has been caught behaving dishonestly to cover up for OU scandals
And Hoffman is accused of being a menuvol himself who was let go from teaching in girls high schools
If that yenta forum was Imamother.com, it is nebich saturated with completely clueless veiber who are so sheltered that it's probably the only website they look at besides YeshivaWorld / Hamodia.
ReplyDeleteWhen someone opens up a little about their pain from a molester on that site, the yentas started giving "eitzah" to go for "help" to Torah Umesorah, OHEL & Shmuel Kaminetzky because "they are very good" for those inyanim.
If there was ever a fire following the frying pan!

Philly yeshiva talmid Dr. Pro-Fresser Rabbi Natan (Offenbacher) "Ophir", who is Shlomo Carlebach's biographer, has been publicly attacking Carlebach victims who speak up.
This shvantz, who was long time Chief Rabbi of Hebrew University, lectures at Jerusalem College of Technology, which also employed Mondrowitz until he became too much of a PR liability, and at Ono College, headed by Raanan Hartman, son of koifer & bulvan Chaim Berliner ausvarf David Hartman.
This is how warped Philly is even when their talmidim end up Modern Orthodox.

By ASHER LOVY
In December 2014, I wrote a post for my blog referencing the Lilith article & articulating the conflict.
The shul typically hosted a Friday night dinner on their annual Carlebach Shabbos as a fundraiser for the shul
Then in 2014, they decided to make the meal more enticing by inviting Sammy Intrator, Carlebach’s long-time gabbai & former rabbi of the Carlebach Shul on Manhattan’s Upper-West Side, to speak during dinner & lead zemiros. Listening to him praise Carlebach, kicked the forgotten Lilith article loose in my mind. How could a man so generous that he died heavily in debt from all the charity he gave have abused so many women? How could a man who symbolized love, empathy & acceptance, have so fundamentally violated his followers? I sat there & mulled this question over in my mind. I tried to forget about it, tried to shake the conflict, but it wouldn’t go away. This was right about the time that accusations against Bill Cosby became public.
Within a day, 50,000 people had read it & it had been shared over 2000 times. Women started coming forward to me, both in the comments section & via private message on Facebook. Some of them were people I’d known for years, telling me of themselves or relatives being abused by Carlebach.
After talking to all the women who came forward, I made the personal decision to no longer listen to his music, or in any way benefit from it. There was also intense backlash. Natan Ophir, Carlebach’s biographer, attacked several of the women who came out with their stories on my post.

ReplyDeleteR' Zelig Epstein zl told Rabbi Yudel Shain that shul rabbonim are not interested in kashrus. They are only interested that the veiber and men should not make tummels that they would have to deal with. And the best mehalech when they have that corrupt agenda is to cover everything up.
R' Zelig lived in Queens which among the "reputable" kashrus Vaaden is the most corrupt and has the lowest standard which is like those of Conservative rabbis.
On Zaakah's Facebook page Asher Lovy attacks Zvi Gluck for giving a press release on the Child Victim Act to Eckstein that distorted the facts in order to sabotage victims from taking advantage of their new legal rights.
ReplyDeleteIn the comments there, the head of the Orthodox Jewish Nurses Association writes that she contacted Gluck several times asking him to correct the release but he completely ignored her.
Why isn't Gluck being treated as what he is which is just another two faced Fresser who is almost as bad as Shea Fishman?
AS OF JULY 30: ZERO MORTALITIES IN THIS AGE GROUP- LESS THAN THE FLU.
ReplyDeleteAGES 18-34: 1.3% OF MORTALITIES TOTAL.
THE LATINO POPULATION ACCOUNTS FOR 56.1 % OF ALL CASES; 45.9 % OF ALL MORTALITIES. PERHAPS THIS MINORITY GROUP DOES NOT ADHERE TO PROPER SAFTEY PRECAUTIONS TO MINIMIZE INFECTION?
WHAT IS YOUR POINT? SHUT DOWN THE ENTIRE STATE AND COUNTRY AGAIN?
THE SHOOLS MUST OPEN!
My point is: know the facts and make an informed decision!
