It's poshut embarrassing that Cuomo is forced to defend himself about the KJ picture from 2006 that was mistakenly used for a few minutes due to staff error but still replaced in time for the press conference.
ReplyDeleteThe Agudah Fressers obviously don't have much substance to bring in front of the highest court in the land so they resort to these childish cheap shots while jumping up & down screaming that Cuomo is an anteh-Semitt & "tyrant".
Avi Schick has no shame shtupping that in the brief. And zero hakoras hatov that Cuomo had appointed him to one of the most senior positions in the State AG's office. Just another detail of shameful Fresser behavior that is not lost on the gentiles.

ReplyDeleteMalka Leifer’s lawyers, who represented the sex offender in a tortuous process of 6+ years, have stepped down
This comes just before the Supreme Court's to hear the latest Hail Mary attempt to prevent Leifer’s extradition to Australia, on 74 counts of child sex abuse
Lawyer Tal Gabay revealed the step to Globes on Fri, saying the Dec 3 hearing's a “side issue in a long ongoing process questioning Leifer’s mental fitness”
Gabay legal partner Yehuda Fried, didn't comment
It's not clear who represents Leifer going forward. Nick Kaufman, who defended Muammar Gaddafi’s sons @ International Criminal Court, joined Leifer’s team earlier this year, ostensibly now lead attorney for a defense with no problem financing high profile lawyers
Gabay added he still believes Israel will prevent Leifer’s extradition & even if not, an Australian court will deem her unfit to face justice
Manny Waks, CEO of VoiCSA, org combating child sexual abuse in the global Jewish community, said “the sudden resignation indicates Leifer’s prominent legal team expects the Supreme Court to uphold the Jerusalem Court decision to extradite Leifer to belatedly face justice”
He points out a panel to hear the appeal are the same 3 judges who previously ruling vs Leifer chided the lower court's allowing the trial to drag “much beyond what's reasonable”
Waks's org repeats "our call for full review to find why this case dragged so long & if political interference is substantiated"
In Sept, Jerusalem District Court ruled Leifer, ex-principal who fled to Israel as accusations surfaced in 2008, could be sent to Australia
If the Supreme Court rejects the appeal as expected, Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn still has to sign Leifer be put on a plane to Australia — another step with chance to appeal
For years, Leifer hearings were postponed by claims of sudden debilitating psychosis. A Jerusalem court suspended trial in 2016, deeming her mentally unfit to proceed. She was rearrested in 2018 after being filmed fully functional
Leifer was aided by then health minister Yaakov Litzman of UTJ-Agudah, who police recommend be indicted for pressuring psychiatrists to change medical docs submitted to the court to deem her unfit
