My entire life I've been battling corruption in the rabbinate in all its ugly forms, shapes and colors. There is no corruption that is worse than clergy corruption.
In business, as in life, if you're astute, you realize early on, that you will get hurt by people, generally the ones "closest" to you. That's because you naturally let your guard down with people you surround yourself with. That could be family members, business associates, fellow members of your community, etc. The hurt is often perpetrated because of the trust you bestowed on your "perceived" trustworthy relationship.
Rabbinic corruption is the absolute worst form of corruption that a Jew can experience. We expect people that having dedicated their life to preaching and "practicing" the wisdom of a Torah-observant life; to simply stated, practice what you preach. So when you discover that to be a misnomer, an absolute falsehood; that the rabbi gets to selectively choose what "they" will practice, many times at the expense of the law, truth, ethics, morals, and the Halacha, you rightfully have the duty to get enraged and go to every legal length to expose this evil, especially if it hides under the guise of Halacha and cloaked in black clothing and beard....
I recently read the book "The Wicked Son" by David Mamet. He is one very proud Jew.(and a highly successful Hollywood personality)
In one of the chapters he describes the "poor shul", the shul without any donor plaques on the wall. He boldly states that any shul that has donor plaques on the wall is not a shul, a house of God, because God does not give any more credence to the rich Jew who can afford to "buy" a plaque, and one that can not.
Basically, taking that thought one step further, the "gvir" or the rich guy, while he deserves credit for donating funds to the shul; but the fact that he has wealth, or has given money, does NOT make him a better Jew. It's the corruption factor that he alludes to, whether it be money or some other source of sense of power. More so, when the corruption comes to the fore in a coverup, knowing full-well that , not only have you "sinned", you will go to any length to cover it up and sin worse than the "original sin." It's the coverup that got Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, Torah Umesorah, the Agudath Israel, Torah Temimah..........
Then we have rabbis, similar to the rabbis of the corrupt Agudath Israel, that will attempt to do anything at all to hide their attempts of coloring the truth, outright lying, creating illusions of truth; even to the extent of committing perjury in a court of law, if that's what it will take to coverup their flawed practices that are in violation of the laws of this great country, that has given us the freedom to practice our religion.
This is the issue I want to address.
Very recently I have come to know that a rabbi has performed a Kiddushin or a Jewish wedding ceremony for a couple, while the woman "was still married" to her first husband. The violation is clear. The rabbi sanctioned this marriage "under the laws of Moses and Israel" while the woman was committing bigamy in the eyes of the law of the United States of America.
This rabbi will be given the opportunity to come "clean", and admit that in fact that he subscribed to a system that is flawed and needs to be corrected. I am informed that this rabbi intends to participate, under penalty of perjury, in a massive coverup of his deeds and that ghastly process of Jewish law, that PERMITS AND SANCTIONS women to marry even though they have not been legally divorced from their previous husbands.
This rabbi, in the winter of his life, had to begin his rabbinical career anew, because he knowingly participated in a heinous coverup of other rabbinical crimes, which at this time, I choose not to disclose.
My message to this rabbi is the following:
Call Lipa Margulies, Yudi Kolko, Yisroel Belsky, Shea Fischman, Sheftel Neuberger, Moshe Eisemann, Shlomo Mandel, Yehuda Nussbaum, the Rebbe from Ger, A.M. Leizerowitz, A. Mondrowitz, Moshe Heinnemann, Yaakov Hopfer, Shmuel Kaminetzky, Mattisyahu Salomon, Yaakov Perlow, David Zweibel, Tzvi Berkowitz, CBS News, NBC News, ABC News, Fox News, New York Magazine, The Forward, The Brooklyn D.A., N.Y.P.D., The New York Post, The JTA, The Jewish Press, The Jewish Week, The Village Voice, The L.A. Times, The Jerusalem Post............ BEFORE you go into court and knowingly testify falsely under penalty of perjury!
The Ten Commandments, the last time I looked, considered "Thou Shall NOT Bear False Witness", right up there with "Thou Shall NOT Kill", "Thou Shall NOT Covet Your Neighbor's Wife", and "Observing the Shabbos."
The daring Rabbi Hershel Schachter has sanctioned taking to the Internet when lives are destroyed because of rabbi-molestation. Molesting the law and the truth to protect a "sin" that you committed, is rabbi-molestation. It is utter molestation of the Torah. It destroys lives and families. Call the tzaddik Rabbi Yosef Blau; verify my tenacity of going after the bad guys with a resolve that has been unmatched in recent Jewish history.
I have personally examined all the evidence; and at great personal expense and vast amounts of time, I consulted with the expert attorneys of the claimant. You have no chance of prevailing with your distortions. If you lie, even slightly, they will crucify you! They have been down this road before, and have destroyed the lie and the liar.
All I expect is that you tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth! Let the chips fall where they may!
Rabbi, I mean you no harm. As I warned the previous rabbis prior to destroying them, I am giving you the opportunity to do right. Do right for the sake of Right, for the sake of mankind, for the sake of the Torah, for the sake of whatever is left of your rabbinical career, for the sake of the organization that you sit on the bais din of, for your family, for whatever is left of your family name, and most of all for society. When a member of the clergy lies intentionally under oath to a coverup of a "crime", especially after being warned against doing that, the only member of your new next congregation will be Jonathan Pollard.
If you lie, deceive, color or discolor the truth in any manner, I will use my considerable resources and whatever means is available to me to destroy whatever is left of your reputation and will see to it that you and the bigamist are criminally prosecuted.
YOU ARE WARNED!
UOJ,
ReplyDeleteWe all need to be wary of kochi v'otzem yadi.
That being said, I'm wondering what possibly could be in violation of civil or criminal law? I assume that the woman in question has a get but no civil divorce. What criminal act is there for her to have a religious marriage ceremony before her civil divorce is final? I'm not a lawyer but it seems to me that the law only recognizes a religious marriage ceremony when it is performed subsequent to a civil marriage license. I just don't thing that legally this is bigamy.
As for the rabbi perjuring himself in related litigation, that's a different subject. Like you said it's the coverup that kills. Clinton got impeached over perjury, not the cigar or the blue dress.
Let me ask you, UOJ, what do you think about senior couples who have a chuppah but no civil marriage so they don't lose Social Security benefits? My ex once had an ob/gyn whose widowed mother had a boyfriend. They didn't want to live together without being married, but a civil marriage meant giving up some Social Security benefits. The families were traditionalist Conservative so the ob/gyn asked us if we knew of an ordained rabbi who would perform the ceremony. It turned out that a friend of mine, a musician of note who has smicha, lived in the same city and he was thrilled to do the wedding.
I can't see how this is wrong. As long as something doesn't technically violate the law it's not illegal.
UOJ,
ReplyDeleteI've long admired Mamet's work. He's also one of the few people in Hollywood that seem to see the world as it is. I had the opportunity to speak to him when he was on Dennis Prager's show and he gave me an interesting answer when I asked him if he got a negative reaction in Hollywood, in light of the fact that so many Jews in the entertainment business exhibit the self hatred he was speaking of. Mamet said that I misunderstood him, and that he didn't think that Jewish self hatred was a problem of self haters vs. non haters. Rather it is a problem that every Jew has to deal with, every one of us.
Unfortunately FCC rules prevented me from telling Mr. Mamet my favorite line from one of his movies:
My m&*herf*&er is so cool, sheep count him

Ronnie,
ReplyDeleteGood question. The rabbi acts or claims to have acted as an agent of the State with the authority to perform marriages. In that capacity, he comitted a crime by facilitating a "marriage" that is illegal, causing the new husband to sleep with a married woman.
I wonder if the rabbi getting UOJ's ultimatum has an internet connection and reads the blog.
ReplyDeleteThere is a big difference! In the case of old an widow and an old widower, these people are not married to anybody else anymore. In both the eyes of the state and in the eyes of the Jewish law they are free to choose to get remarried or not; no stings attached. What they do in the eyes of the state is to choose NOT to get married, while in the eyes of the Jewish law the choose to actually do. The reason for that unomally is unjust and opressive tax laws that drive people to criminal acts. We all (except of super rich liberals) should yearn to abolish these laws.
ReplyDeleteIn the case that UOJ describes, if I understand correctly such authorities as Rav Moshe Feinstein and others there are two problems: a) one is not really permitted to disregard the state even if unjust (which is applicable to the previous case as well, unfortunately.) And, more importnatly b) there is a still a doubt about the state of the woman and she could be considered still married to the previous husband, in which case she is not allowed to get married to a new man.
What's wrong with sleeping with a married woman? And if you brought the woman to your shul office to fool around, would UOJ still get mad and consider that "sleeping"?
ReplyDeleteWhat about being mattir a mamzer to get married to score political points? And funny that my Wikipedia entry makes no mention of that scandal.
ReplyDeleteMy Wikipedia entry DOES mention Goren being mattir mamzerim. I quit the Rabbanut rather than sit next to a shvantz like Goren.
ReplyDelete"In the case that UOJ describes, if I understand correctly such authorities as Rav Moshe Feinstein and others there are two problems: a) one is not really permitted to disregard the state even if unjust (which is applicable to the previous case as well, unfortunately.) ReplyDelete----------------------------------
Dina D'Malchuta Dina....If a woman is married legally....she can not get married again. Which simply means:
1-The kiddushin never happened and the rabbi facilitated an illicit relationship.
2- R' Moshe was very clear that a rabbi must never perform a marriage ceremony until the legal divorce was final.
3-The second husband was duped by the woman and the rabbi.
4-The husband is outraged and wants an anullment.
5-The rabbi is tripping over himself how to lie, rather than to admit he was dead wrong in performing this ceremony.
I commend UOJ for his zero tolerance stance on corruption. He has a place in a Giuliani cabinet.
ReplyDeleteUOJ, would you still object if the first husband has no qualms?
ReplyDeleteauto report world editors queries: "What criminal act is there for her to have a religious marriage ceremony before her civil divorce is final?
ReplyDeleteIn New York it is a crime-a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year imprisonment for a clergy to "solemnize a marriage without a license (which would never be issued if the party is still civilly married).
Section 17 of the New York Domestic Relations Law follows:
17. Clergyman or officer violating article; penalty
If any clergyman or other person authorized by the laws of this state to
perform marriage ceremonies shall solemnize or presume to solemnize any
marriage between any parties without a license being presented to him or them
as herein provided or with knowledge that either party is legally incompetent
to contract matrimony as is provided for in this article he shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not less
than fifty dollars nor more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for a
term not exceeding one year.
UOJ, would you still object if the first husband has no qualms? --------------------------------------
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I don't make the laws or the Halacha.
I am against bigamy and polygamy of any kind.
ReplyDeleteThere are shitos that you don't have to adhere to dina demalchusa if the authorities don't enforce it. I wonder if there has ever been a prosecution of a heimisher Yid that was revealed.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine liberal judges in NY or the Left Coast imposing jail time for a misdemeanor. Even if the DA makes it his pet peeve, you'll be lucky if the $50 fine gets imposed.
ReplyDeleteUOJ,
ReplyDeleteYou should have written,
"...while the woman was committing ADULTERY in the eyes of the law of the United States of America."
In New York State, adultery is a crime, a misdemeanor, though rarely if ever enforced. Adultery is also a ground for a divorce.
Bigamy, defined as being married to more than one spouse at the same time, is also a crime, but I've never heard of a bigamy prosecution based on a combination of a state-sanctioned civil marriage and a religious-only marriage. To the contrary, this combination goes on all the time in Utah, where the Mormons practice this type of arrangement, and they get left alone by the State Government (with the exception of underage and/or coerced relationships).
More to the point, without knowing more, it sounds like the rabbi involved in this episode was trying to right some injustice. Perhaps the woman had a get, but the civil divorce was still languishing, because of her husband's financial machinations - but she wanted to remarry. Then, in the civil divorce case, where the husband perhaps was trying to establish adultery, the rabbi denied he did the ceremony, because he didn't want to get prosecuted under the clergy misdemeanor law cited above.
Before the lives of some decent people get ruined, perhaps you should consult with the other side of the story.
SOmeone wrote 2 threads ago that a YTT rebbe sanctions wife beating as long as it was done in a drunken stupor on Purim.
ReplyDeleteIs this true? Which putz is it?
Does anyone really think that the Iggud Haganovim will allow Charlie Hynes to prosecute anyone breaking this law? Especially not the rov performing the ceremony.
ReplyDelete"I can't imagine liberal judges in NY or the Left Coast imposing jail time for a misdemeanor. Even if the DA makes it his pet peeve, you'll be lucky if the $50 fine gets imposed"
ReplyDeleteAnd therefore it's acceptable? I'm curious, and I'd love to see in print, "shitos" that allow violation of civil law, so long as "the authorities don't enforce it."
Remember that cockamamie story Naomi Klass Mauer told NY Magazine about her ex chasing her around the apt blowing a shofar in her ear? Was that true or just par for the course of Jewish Press smear tactics?

----------------------------------
As I do with ALL my stories( I have NOT been wrong yet) I investigated this one thoroughly!
The woman was desperate to marry the new husband before he changed his mind. The civil divorce was NOT granted at that point in time.
There were NO shenanigans, the first husband was thrilled to get rid of her!
I am as right on this as I was on Kolko!
Is UOJ an equal opportunity persecutor? Let's see if the rabbi in the siddur kiddushin gets led away in handcuffs on national TV. Besides, the picture on the start page of Shmarya's blog is getting kind of stale.
ReplyDeleteAt no time did Margulies have anything to do with bigamy. Wife beating yes, but not multiple spouses.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Maybe I can steal the show from UOJ and get up to shrei about this from the amud. Whatever you do, don't tell Boog about it.
ReplyDeleteYet again, what UOJ is doing is assur - yet necessary!
ReplyDeleteRav Heinemann has said in public shiurim that there is no issur of breaking secular law if it's not enforced. He has given examples such as speeding slightly above the limit in most places where cops don't pull you over.
ReplyDeleteHe has also been known to posken that using a payphone to make a call signal is not genaiva because the phone companies know everyone does it and could easily modify the phones to keep the quarter but they choose to let it go.
It has come to our attention that a certain rabble rouser is sticking his nose into the affairs of rabbis who perform marriage ceremonies. We sanctimoniously believe that he is treading a very dangerous ice field.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love how we word editorials as if we are the word of G-d?
The message at 12:31 was us.
ReplyDeleteRIETS ALUM;
ReplyDeletePlease identify yourself; I would love to engage in a debate with you.
It's my opinion that if the only issue is a very minor legal infraction that's not enforced, then UOJ should leave the people alone. If there is another good reason to nail this rov, then by all means, throw the book at him.
ReplyDeleteTo my knowledge, there is only one rov, who at least publicly has been cholek on Rav Heinemann and whoever else holds like that. It's a rosh yeshiva who thinks that American bochurim are shkotzim if they don't act like kedoshei elyon of pre-war Europe. In his yeshiva, everything was off limits, even if the Mishna Brura said it's mutter. Despite his bekius in Shas and poskim I always felt this rosh yeshiva was a very small minded man who drove bochurim away from learning with his rigidness.
Most of the politicians who draft the laws are more corrupt than the rabbi being warned today. Maybe UOJ can use his influence to stop the corrupt porkbarrelling that raises our taxes to obscene levels. Even the shmucks who don't pull their kids out of YTT would be cheering UOJ then.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteYou don't scare me at all. Go ahead make my day you schmuk.
ReplyDeleteIs that Nissim Davidi? Isn't he an Iranian from Ner Yisroel who heads the main Vaad Hakashrus in California?
ReplyDeleteWe might have considered sticking up for one of our citizens even if he is a Jew, but there's no way we're taking on UOJ, at least ot until the UN allows us to build our nuclear arsenal.
ReplyDeleteA relative of Davidi was shielded by a protection racket at a certain yeshiva because of a certain connection. He was one of many whose connections saved him despite his misdeeds that would and did get anyone else expelled.
ReplyDeleteIt's not Davidi, although he's no angel.
ReplyDeleteOf course Davidi is not me, even though we're both Sfardim.
ReplyDeleteI wish UOJ had been around earlier. With every mover & shaker in the world reading this blog in real time, it would have made my foreign policy work a lot easier.
ReplyDeleteI smell a huge story here. If I were the rabbi I would watch my rear end.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Ralbag and the Unorthodox Divorce and the shielding of Bobov of a menuval who still has not given a get?
ReplyDeleteWould that be Aryeh Ralbag from Flatbush or his old man from the Upper East Side? And what was the story?
ReplyDeleteUOJ, what do you have against Davidi?
ReplyDeleteThis is not about Davidi.
ReplyDeleteThis story is as big or bigger than the Kolko story if the rabbi and the bigamist perjure themselves. I kid you not!
Unreal!

ReplyDeleteRabbis Aryeh Ralbag, Haim Kraus, Hersh Meir Ginsberg, Elimelech Zalman Lebowitz, and Solomon B. Herbst vehemently deny Sieger’s charges. Well-known Washington, D.C., attorney Nathan Lewin, who has litigated many highly charged cases involving Orthodox Judaism, is handling their defense with a bare-knuckles bravado that seems to indicate a personal passion for the case. (Herbst is represented by Louis Tratner.)
“She’s managed to mislead and bamboozle everybody with her stories,” says Lewin, a compact man with white hair and a trim white beard, whose fees for defending the rabbis are being paid, in large part, by Chaim Sieger.
Chayie Sieger’s response is succinct: “Nat Lewin would represent a monkey, as long as it’s male and has a beard.”
- Ralbag runs a questionable hashgocho, Triangle K
- Hersh Ginsberg runs the Agudas Haganovim and supports Mordechai Tendler
- Is Lebowitz the rov from L & 36th that got divorced?
- Is Kraus that belligerent jerk that used to live by 9th Ave?
Davidi's relative was stealing cash from bochurim in the dorm. So that this loser's father wouldn't get offended, the menahel made half the yeshiva take a lie detector test. The menahel approached me and asked if I was willing to take the test, explaining that I was not under any suspicion but that he needed warm bodies so that the few suspects won't complain of selective harrassment. I was a young and naive freshman in high school so I agreed. When I found out what was really going on, I was furious. The ganav had been caught already year after year stealing but the whole yeshiva had to be inconvenienced out of deference to the powerful father. The ganav was left to be and if anyone made a comment to him or about him - THEY were disciplined for talking about it. The menahel by the way was written about here last year for his physically abusive exploits. The other ganav in the dorm wasn't even made to take the test even though there were signs that he was stealing. His father is also somewhat powerful. He came in the middle of the zman from Adelphia. The yeshiva later found out that he was one of the guys booted by Rabbi Trenk for going to a whore house. Even after finding this out, they let him stay. The ganav and zona patronizer needed money that his rabbi father wouldn't provide, so he stole it from us. Ganav #2 was thrown out of his house after he hit his sister. He went off the derech and is today a Conservative rabbi. The father of ganav #1 also taught in the yeshiva. He was also physically abusive, but not dangerously so like the menahel. There is one famous story where he started coming at a bochur who was a big guy. He backed off after the bochur warned him that he would smash a computer over his head.
ReplyDeleteWho gives Ralbag the right to run around calling himself the Raavad & Gaavad of Amsterdam? The kehilla of bnei Amsterdam are furious about this. He's just a Dib. What's next? Margo is the Chief rabbi of Hungary and Boro Park?
ReplyDeleteWhen Tzviki Ralbag was in YTT, one of his rebbeim once confiscated some nosh he brought, saying that the hashgocho (his father) is no good. Aryeh Ralbag furiously called the rebbe and demanded an explanation.
ReplyDeletepeople need to realize that they cannot break the law of this country just because it suits their needs
ReplyDeleteMargo is looking to file a personal injury case based on being pounded on UOJ.
ReplyDeleteTo My many dear friends, including Z.A. & R.S.,
ReplyDeleteI thank you heartily for your thoughts.
I was battling rabbinical fraud and corruption before I took to the Internet. It is pervasive. All I did was use the God given tools of modern technology and use it to all of our advantage. I have not exploited it or used it for my personal gain or advantage. It would be fair to say that the amount I spent on various different issues because of being UOJ is well into the six figures.
I spoke to this particular rabbi twice. He told me and was proud of his chachmot, how exactly he was going to distort the truth.
I explained to him that the husband was deceived and lied to, emotionally and financially raped by his charlatan wife, and needed him to tell the truth, that's it.
I strongly urged him to just tell the truth. I suspected strongly that he did not intend to. His foibles were ALL he was concerned about.
HUSBANDS GET RAPED AS WELL NOT ONLY WIVES!
I know it's not politically correct to say that; that why I proudly call myself unorthodox.
I hope this clarifies matters a bit.
If the rabbi lies as his capacity as a rabbi, he's toast! Promise!
One more thing:
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine the matzav of Klal Israel, that you have to beg and cajole a rabbi to tell the truth in a court of law under penalty of perjury?
Can't you see how rabbinical corruption brings all kinds of evil into our homes, schools and lives?
Corruption, lies, frauds, and shennanigins by our rabbis has brought us ALL the various forms of perversions that we are faced with today.
You need to get it!
The Davidi relation is a sick dude but so is his father. He was the only kid in yeshiva that didn't get a cent of spending money from his father. His genayvos may have been a protest more than anything. He only stole pocket change. What kind of a warped person doesn't give his son a red penny? The big money was stolen by the boel aramis. That zona zucher also has a first cousin who was a very well known kleptomaniac in the yeshivos who even stole on Shabbos. It's indeed a huge chutzpah that all these sons of rabbis and machers get a free pass at destruction while anyone else is thrown out on his tush for burping out of turn. In the same yeshiva for instance, a bochur with no money or connections was tossed after he asked his rebbe if body checking a girl during hockey is issur negiah. The greaseball rebbe from Beis Hatalmud was instructing the shiur on the inyan and mistakenly thought the body checking is a raunchy term. Before getting the bochur expelled, he pedalled around that he is "evil". When the other boys in the shiur tried explaining to him that it's just a definition of a move in the sport, he's like, yeah yeah sure, you can't fool me.
ReplyDeleteTzviki Ralbag was in Brisk. I wonder what AJ thinks about Triangle K? But at least the Ralbags aren't fakers like the other kashrus rabbis who use big kulos that no one else holds of. The Ralbags at least eat Triangle K themselves, not like rabbanut rabbis and Steinberg from Boro Park who take the mashgiach fee but then don't dare eat it.
ReplyDeleteSo let me get this straight. Thieves and a guy who screws a shix are left alone, but some erenste guy asking a shayla when the rebbe is talking about hilchos negia is a rosho?
ReplyDeleteNo wonder UOJ was forced to become UOJ.

ReplyDeleteHere's Bungalow Putz Neuhoff this past summer, before he was exposed, saying that a kol is not a fact and that instead of UOJ dealing with it, it should be left to mental health professionals to decide.
So here is this PUTZ working as in house shrink for Demon-in-Chief Margo saying let us handle it internally. Maybe it's Tuvya Chaim that needs to see a mental health professional.
Hey Neuhoff, UOJ didn't need to spell it out because YOU ARE A PUTZ!
That's right "???????", it's a long story but the poor bochur with the hockey rules had nowhere to go after that but public school.
ReplyDeleteHey Lichtman, R' Malkiel is looking for you. What is it with all you phoney Briskers from Frankel's shul who disappear from the face of the earth and resurface in law school?
ReplyDeleteNOBODY IS BEYOND THE REACH OF THE LAW!
ReplyDeleteWASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former vice presidential aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby was found guilty on Tuesday of four counts of lying, PERJURY and obstructing justice.
Libby was found not guilty of one count of lying. He faces 25 years in prison.
I'm not just saying this because Scooter is a Yid. Scooter indeed broke the law by lying, but the real culprits in this story were never brought to justice. Scooter was cornered by Fitzgerald at Justice when the real "leaker" was Richard Armitage at State. Of course there was no law broken by anyone because Valerie Plame was not an agent protected by federal Identities Act. Joe Wilson IV & the NY Times editorial board managed to turn this into a circus for which Libby or anyone else including the two reporters at Time & the NY Times would never have gone to jail. Scooter felt compelled to lie about a non-issue and would not have been charged with any crime if he just admitted he spoke to people about Plame. There has never been a more frivolous investigation in history, paid for of course with your tax dollars.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the klepto who stole on Shabbos, are you referring to the guy in Chaim Berlin who stole from the Irv in Lakewood when he went home for Shabboses? That was unbelievable when those Lakewood guys broke into the Chaim Berlin dorm at 3 am and dragged the shmuck out of bed. It was like UOJ had a tactical rapid response force or something.
ReplyDeleteThe NY Times editorial board & Joe Wilson IV is the political equivalent of YTT and their public mouthpieces Belsky & Neuhoff. The end result is the same in that the victims get smeared and framed.
ReplyDeletePolitical Analyst;
ReplyDeleteAgreed that Libby was the fall guy. Point of reference is that he knowingly lied and perjured himself.
Prosecutors love high profile cases.
A rabbi that has already been in trouble for lying before, is exactly the type of case the D.A. is interested in.
Throw bigamy into the mix, throw a high profile claimant with big connections and money, you got HEADLINES!
I know!
Ronnie,
ReplyDeleteThe greatest crimes are the ones that can be easily prevented!
How has the "bigamy rabbi" been in trouble for lying before?
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteAgreed that Libby was the fall guy. Point of reference is that he knowingly lied and perjured himself.
The case stinks. Fitzgerald gave a pass to Armitage who was the real leaker. I'm not convinced that Libby knowingly lied. The reporters couldn't remember stuff. The jurors couldn't remember stuff (as indicated by their notes to the judge). But Libby is supposed to have remembered everything.
The tragedy here is that Wilson and Plame's politics trumped the security of the United States. We have an out of control "permanent government" in Washington, peopled by partisans who, regardless of the administration, pursue their own policy objectives. This was first noticeable in the State Department, which seems to be more tied in to foreign diplomats and countries than to the US administration and Americans. Now, the intelligence apparatus has the same problem, and DOJ has some issues too.
I don't have a problem with whistleblowers. But these aren't whistleblowers, they are partisans who disagree with their boss, the president.
This is all very perilous for a democracy.
A good friend of mine was a mashgiach t'midi at an edible oils and rendering plant. They needed constant supervision because the plant processed both vegetable and animal oils. When my friend noticed a heated tanker truck (animal fats need to be heated to keep from congealing) being filled with vegetable oil and shipped to Frito Lay without first being steam cleaned, he called up Rabbi Ralbag, who provides hashgacha for Frito Lay. Ralbag first claimed that it was okay due to 'batal b'shishim'. When my friend pointed out that that leniency has to do with b'dieved situations, not something known from beforehand, Ralbag called him a chutzpan and hung up.
ReplyDeleteI never understood how R' Reuven Feinstein allowed Frito Lay in Staten Island. They are the only yeshiva that holds of Ralbag.

ReplyDeleteI am loathe to criticize R' Dovid Feinstein. He is an adam gadol ad meod and must have a good reason even if it's because he may have been misled. He is related to the Fishelis brothers from MTJ who were both giving their own separate hashgochos. One of them died, yet his teuda was fraudulently kept up at restaurants for years. The other brother is a little odd and very much unreliable. Rabbonim approached R' Dovid to stop Fishelis from being machshil the oylam that lives & works in downtown Manhattan. Nothing happened. I even have an eyewitness that places R' Dovid eating in one of these places afterwards. This post is lehosir michshol and again I believe R' Dovid has pure intentions even if there is some error on his part.

Angry driver tries to run over police officer
ReplyDeletePresse Canadienne
Tuesday, March 06, 2007
Montreal police are investigating an incident that occured in Cote des Neiges early Sunday morning, in which a police officer was nearly deliberately run over by a car.
A female police officer was assigned to keep watch over a large group of young people who were crossing Vimy St. after what witnesses said was a gathering of Hassidic Jews.
Spotting two men who seemed to be drunk, she approached them and tried to give them a ticket, Sgt. Ian Lafreniere said. Another man then intervened, ordered the two not to talk to the police officer, and took a photograph of the officer.
After she asked the group to move along, the suspect got into a car and tried to run the officer over, Lafreniere said. She escaped uninjured, while the man fled back in the building.
When other police officers arrived for backup, they searched the building but could not locate the suspect in the crowd. It was difficult to identify the man because everyone in the room was wearing similar clothing, Lafreniere said.
The suspect is still at large, Lafreniere said. If located, he could face charges of armed assault, for trying to run over the officer, and intimidation, because he took a photograph of the officer.

Under the headline of "Squash" you will see that Rabbi Marc Penner assers the Bird's Eye that the Lakewood guy is talking about.
There are no dusty hats in Holliswood, Queens? Remind me not to move there. I wouldn't want to stick out like a sore thumb.

Actually, I worked in a DuPont paint lab for 21 years and one of the chemists I knew once called me to his office to show me the hechsher for a paint additive. Apparently it was also used in food processing and was available in a food grade.
I wonder if the Abadi kids ask their father's approval for everything they write on kashrut.org. I know one of the kids and don't find him to be very pious. The things on that site also seem much more radical than what Rabbi Abadi himself has been known to be matir. Unless I find out more information, I don't trust that website. You have to get a kick though out of all these people who latch on to the heterim of even the father himself. Sure, they love to indulge in treif chewing gum and use a bar of soap on Shabbes, but they selectively leave out his chumros, like taking their own toveled silverware to simcha halls. This kind of picking and choosing is specifically forbidden in halacha.
ReplyDeleteOne more thing to make a mental note of. Do you think that Marc Penner's modern group has an agenda to be more farfrummed than they have to be? It's just another reason to doubt the Abadi kids if they argue with Young Israel of Holliswood.

KAZI STASTNA
The Gazette
Wednesday, March 07, 2007
Police are investigating an incident in an Orthodox Jewish neighbourhood in Cote des Neiges early Sunday in which they allege a man tried to run his car into a female officer and took a photograph of her giving a ticket to two drunken revellers.
The man, who had not been arrested yesterday, could face charges of assault with a weapon and intimidation, police said.
Montreal police were called to de Vimy Ave., north of Van Horne Ave., shortly before 1 a.m. by neighbours complaining of people setting off firecrackers to celebrate the Purim holiday. The officers closed off the street to maintain order and remained on the scene to keep an eye on partygoers, Sgt. Ian Lafreniere said.
Police said one officer stopped two young men who were highly intoxicated and jaywalking. While she was giving them a ticket for public drunkenness and not crossing at the intersection, a man in his 50s came up, took a photo of the officer, and told the men they did not have to identify themselves and were free to leave.
He then got into a vehicle. As the officer stood behind the car, writing the licence-plate number, he backed up the car toward her, police said. She jumped out of the way, then went to the front of the car. At that point the man made a second move in her direction, then drove off, Lafreniere said. The officer was unharmed.
"We believe there was an intention" to drive into the woman, Lafreniere said.
The man parked the car in the driveway of a nearby house where a party with about 50 people was going on. He went inside.
The officer could not pick out the man from among the similarly dressed people inside, police said. Investigators later traced the owner of the car; he was not the man driving the vehicle, but he owns the house where the party was taking place.

There is no corruption that is worse than clergy corruption.
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting concept. But do you really think that a corrupt clergyman is really any more immoral than a corrupt lay person?
To be sure, we need honest leaders, but we can't blame our own personal corruption on corrupt leaders. Yes, the leaders have to set an example but we aren't robotic sheep. We have our own free will.
Perhaps the worst part of clergy corruption is that it gives all of us an 'excuse' for our own moral failings.
Ronnie,
ReplyDeleteCome on guy...
You own a bakery and claim that you bake with kosher products, and preach to everyone about kosher......and then people come to find out you are baking with non-kosher....
Clergy...preach and then take the Torah and turn it upside down...to suit their needs or cover their behinds.
The jury rejected Mr. Libby’s claims of memory lapses, convicting him of four felony counts, obstruction of justice, and giving false statements.
ReplyDeleteThe prosecutor said that while gratified by the verdict, “it’s sad that we had a situation where a high-level person obstructed justice and lied under oath.”
ReplyDelete“We cannot tolerate perjury,” he said. “The truth is what drives our judicial system. If people don’t come forward and tell the truth, we have no hope of making the judicial system work.”
ReplyDeleteI do not know Marc Penner's but I do not think he should give an opinion about the kashrus of food and drinks.

ReplyDeleteAccording to this website, there are some American distillers who add the worm to Tequila as shtick. I read somewhere else that the worm ban ended over 10 years after they were deemed safe.
Even if Penner is making a mistake, it's the same one made by every kashrus organization.
And because of this minor detail you think he's possul and shouldn't talk?

ReplyDeleteIt's important. If it is this rabbi, he is in very serious trouble. I have information on him I want to send you.
Ronnie,
ReplyDeleteCome on guy...
It was a serious question. I need to be a better person. Are my sins any less sins than Yudi Kolko's? [note: I didn't say "lesser"]
Like the Yiddish saying goes, fish rot from the head, but just because the fish head stinks doesn't mean that I smell like a daisy.
The problem with focusing on bad guys (which is needed, and I'm sure you understand that I'm on your side) is that it allows us to focus on someone else and ignore our own flaws.
And no, I'm not saying that we should ignore communal pathologies and work only on ourselves.
The goyim have a phrase, there but for the grace of God go I. In the case of Christianity it flows from the concept that people are inherently sinners, but I think there are Jewish sources that can be used to come to a similar conclusion to "there but..." . The trial by ordeal of a Sotah is an example.
Yes, get rid of the miscreants, but recognize that without appropriate behaviors we can end up being one of those miscreants.
We are all potential giants and aich naflu giborim can apply to all of us.
I'm not trying to argue or fight here. I just think it's a worthwhile topic of discussion.
“We cannot tolerate perjury,” he said.
ReplyDeleteThis is rich coming from a prosecutor who essentially created the perjury. This isn't an isolated case.
When a high profile investigation and prosecutor comes up with no criminal act to prosecute, the investigators will essentially create the crime of perjury or lying to investigators by getting the accused to contradict themselves.
They say a clever prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, but this whole case is one big nothingburger.
Martha Stewart wasn't prosecuted for insider trading, she was prosecuted for lying to investigators. The lie? That she was innocent.
The Duke lacrosse non-rape is another example of how prosecutors game the system for personal benefit.
And Joe Wilson just signed a multi million dollar contract to do "news analysis" for one of the major networks.
Yeah, this is about justice. Right.
Actually, the FBI is embarrassed that AG Alberto Gonzalez has decided to change the official logos. The blue windbreakers with the yellow lettering worn during federal raids is being switched from FBI to UOJ. Ronnie Schreiber was awarded the contract.

Are there any copyright or impersonation issues if the "UOJ" is in the same font as official issue FBI, DEA, etc?
No. As a matter of fact, very few of government or military trademarks are protected. Almost all federal gov't marks are in the public domain. The NYPD and NYFD own their marks and started enforcing them after 9/11, but as far as I know federal agencies don't.
It isn't a gov't mark, but in '04 I did some Hebrew and Arabic versions of the Bush/Cheney '04 logo. Though volunteering with Jews For George my son and I got some VIP passes to a campaign rally. We were able to get spots on the barriers right where GWB and Laura were walking into the hall and were able to shake the president's hand. I was wearing a Hebrew cap and GWB looked at it and said, "Like the hat".
A guy in Baltimore wants to buy 100 caps. He wants to JEW you down to $12.
Are you serious? Baruch HaShem. Sure, for a 100 of them I'll knock it down to $12.
BTW, in my chevra we say Presbyterian you down.
I got this guy from crazy L.A.- He wants to Super-Jew you to $8, no tax or shipping. What do I tell the putz?
Tell him to get them knocked off in China. I don't like working for minimum wage. Of course if he's gonna order 1000 I can be flexible but I don't think I'd go below $9. Tax isn't a problem, it's a wholesale transaction and he's not in Michigan so sales tax doesn't have to be collected. Shipping, however, he ain't gonna get for free.
I feel bad for Ronnie if the SYs start knocking off UOJ uniforms in Taiwan for $4.
Actually, the cost on having them made in China is pretty close to $2 @, about what the blanks cost by the dozen. But the delivery time is at least 8 weeks and you have to order at least 500.
Give Margo and Shafran a crack at me, make some ANTI-UOJ caps as well.
ReplyDeleteHey Solomon, how come nobody knows about your accomplice who forged all the bad checks?
ReplyDeleteWe wouldn't mind outfitting all the guests with the anti-UOJ caps. Shafran would fall right into the trap again of giving UOJ the spotlight. He would expect Ronnie to precondition them first though, to make them nice & dusty like his Borsalino.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Shafran knows to stay away from Bencraft, so when UOJ pokes fun that even his baseball cap is filthy, he will probably try to weasel a free steaming out of us.
ReplyDeleteOT but worthy of note:

ReplyDeleteIn the clear light of day, lol, were you serious about the guy in Baltimore?
I believe so Ronnie, he bought a huge amount of the New York Magazine-Robert Kolker's issue on the Jewish Catholics.
ReplyDeleteUOJ,
ReplyDeleteGet a hold of an Artscroll Gemara, look up Purim's Daf Yomi and see what it says on both Amudim about the tragic rape of Tamar. Then try not to laugh at the pathetic relevance of the very end of the Purim Daf/Perek to what is going on with todays molesters and enabler rabbi/demi-gods. Scary how the story of Purim also involves the forceful cohabitation the king had with Esther. It is more than coincidence that this daf was to be learned on Purim.
That article on Moishe Aryeh Friedman seems to have been proven false. The wife did go to her parents in Williamsburg but when Friedman came running to look for her, they got back together and stayed together in the Park House Hotel. The hotel on 13th Ave that HiTech is in, the Avenue Plaza, has a picture of him by check in so they can refuse him a room. He checked into the Park House under his wife's maiden name and after he was recognized there was angry mob of 500 people that gathered and basically forced him out. No other guests could sleep all Shabbos with everyone yelling outside.
ReplyDelete"Scary how the story of Purim also involves the forceful cohabitation the king had with Esther. It is more than coincidence that this daf was to be learned on Purim."
ReplyDelete___________________________________
Esther's cohabitation was not forceful at all. If in fact the tale happened, which there is no record of that other than the "megilah", she slept with him for political and personal gain.
In my opinion, there's another name for those type of people and it's not queen.
UOJ, another area full of scams is that of funeral homes. They rip everyone's butt off.

If Bible Scholar's words did not end with his last line I would care to refute his opinion. Given his hatred for true and original jewish religion and mesorah from Nach and Shas no less, any refutation of his views will have to come from someone other than myself. Of course, if his satiric tone stems from PTSDs such as childhoon or adolescent trauma involving religion or religious persons than I withdraw my criticism and have only love and sympathy with bible scholar.
ReplyDeleteThere are no references to the Esther story anywhere in Persian history or any valid historical record.
ReplyDeleteBelieve what you will, like much of the other lore, this stuff is made-up. The fact that the myth-makers chose to make Esther a heroine for sleeping with the King, is very telling.
Bible critics like Bible Scholar above are not intellectually consistent. On one hand they attack the credibility of the source material ("If in fact the tale happened"), yet feel free to engage in speculative textual analysis, and expect us to accept their speculation as emes, even more reliable than the source material.
ReplyDelete"Bible Scholar" is a talmid of the kofrim who play this game to feel better about their redifas hataayvos. As the Vilna Gaon explains, Artistotle started this game and the most recent one of note was Richard Elliott Friedman who (poison) penned "Who Wrote the Bible?"
ReplyDeleteOne can come up with any number of possible explanations that the "Scholar" cannot refute. What was stopping later Persian monarchies from completely obliterating a mention of Jews in power? Even in the time of Esther, a son of Haman was the royal archivist who tried to erase the record of Mordechai's stopping the murder conspiracy against the King.
The poskim discuss Esther's situation and offer that either she was forced as karka oylam or had a golem double.
In any case, "Scholar" must have pretty big playtzes if he thinks he can just trash a neviah, which is a step higher than someone with ruach hakodesh.
Did UOJ have an undercover agent attend Kolko's trial in downtown Brooklyn today?
ReplyDeleteShag baby!
There are no references to the Esther story anywhere in Persian history or any valid historical record.
ReplyDeleteAnd what is a "valid" historical record? The official historical record of ancient Egypt ignores all Egyptian defeats, including the conquest of Egypt by the Hyksos. The same is true in the royal chronicles of China.
Since contemporary documents are not necessarily reliable, we are left to find physical archaeological evidence, something not very likely.
Let me ask you, Bible Scholar, how do you feel about the punctuated equilibrium theory of evolution, popularized by Stephen Gould?

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit mystified why you didn't pass through my post about punctuated equilibrium and biblical scholarship credentials.
The material on evolution spoke directly to the idea of history without physical evidence.
As for ridicule, I wasn't ridiculing him but he was completely bluffing and bullshitting when he associated punctuated equilibrium and Stephen Gould with Pascal's Wager. He had no idea what he was talking about. I think that speaks to his credibility. To further address his credibility I asked him to identify some bible scholars of note.
I studied with real bible scholars and world famous archaeologists, and while I disagree with them on many points (one of my professors was a shmadded Jew), at least they were true bible scholars, at least in an academic sense. Bible Scholar is no bible scholar.
Or maybe it's just a spoof. After all, his initials are BS.
He did not resort to name calling, he stuck to the facts.
The poster who linked to Gil Student's post on the historicity of the Book of Esther at AishDas did exactly that. While it didn't directly address Esther herself, it did discuss Mordechai/Mardukka and the general agreement of the Megillah with what is known about Persia and Xerxes.
BS ignored it. That hardly wins any points in a debate.
Could one of the attorneys or bankers here kindly post whatever is on Pacer from Kolko's court appearance today?

UOJ, what part of "ignorant" isn't name calling?
Besides, if he was a true bible scholar he wouldn't have conflated myth with fairy tales. Nobody has based a religion on the big bad wolf as of yet.
I'm still waiting for his response to Gil Student's post on the historicity of the Megillah.

That's not even wagering, that's turning down a scratch & win that's guaranteed a winner, thus making him the biggest loser in history. The French might be ridiculed for cheese eating and body odor but the Hungarians are NUTS.
ReplyDeleteRead the scholars first post after my Daf Yomi thing started this and u will see that scholar clearly alluded to Esther being a whore.
ReplyDeleteWhat is that UOJ if not name calling?
I'm still waiting to see if scholar can take me up on the offer to debate line by line. I gave him the oppurtunity to come clean and discuss unbiased facts. Now this seems to have degenerated into a mud slinging thing so I'm bowing out. Just a parting thought... What about the huge ancient tombs of Mordechai and Esther that are in modern day Iran and is refered to as such by Jew and Muslim alike? Aint no 3 piggies in there last time I checked.
Besides, did u take a look at the blatt gemorah I mentioned, UOJ?
P.S. I'm getting very uneasy with the heretics article u put up some weeks ago and now this. Are these your ultimate goals? I asked u to clarify your position last time and u did. But siding with a unscholarly scholar who started the name calling in response to my harmless post is disturbing when u laud him for exactly the virtues which he has shown he lacks..
I think the Megillah is fascinating in terms of male/female dynamics.
ReplyDeleteYou have a husband wanting to show off his naked wife to his buddies and she rebels. Maybe Achashverosh was a "sharer" or "watcher" and latently homoerotic.
You have Mordechai chastising Esther for thinking only about herself.
And then there is Zeresh. How typical is that of some married woman! She encourages Haman to go after Mordechai when things are going well, but at the first sign of reversal she starts calling him a loser. You can almost hear he tell him, "I should have married Abagtha".
Hey Scholar where are you?
ReplyDeleteI know that gemorah well, interesting "derher".
Truth be told I always had a problem with Mordecai using Esther in that way. According to medrash, she could have been Mordecai's wife.
As a victim of rabbinic molestation I am very attuned to victims and looking at the story of the megilah through the eyes of the gemara in Meseches Megilah, that devotes many pages to the story itself, I have no problem with Mordechai and don't see him using Esther. Care to elaborate on specific problems u have with it or should we refrain from getting sidetracked from the intent of this site?
ReplyDeleteAnon, 4:58,
ReplyDeleteI respect our differences. In a nutshell, I'm not a literalist. My parents tell me before I said Mama, I asked WHY?
I spent an enormous amount of time learning and studying. I gave a daf for many years, completed shas (Talmud) three times with Rashi and Tosefos.
The more I learned and studied, the more I realized that the literal translation of many texts, can not be accurate literally.
I chose metaphorics and allegory as a substitute, or I can't remain frum.
My intent is to better our religion, demand more from our leaders, and expect no compromise on emes.
Child molestation and enabling the crime, and then covering it up, is vicious and distorts our Torah.
Those "leaders" must be removed for Judaism to have any integrity.
I'd rather believe the Esther story not true, than to believe that Mordecai gave Esther to a king's harem.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather believe the Esther story not true, than to believe that Mordecai gave Esther to a king's harem.
As I see it, it's mostly problematic because of the viewpoint that M & E were husband and wife. Sending his adopted niece to the harem might appear unsavory but it isn't sending your wife off to sleep with the king.
Frankly I don't know why "k'bat" is darshaned as "k'bayit". It just opens up a Pandora's box vis a vis adultery and yaharog v'al ya'avor, and then chazal have to jump through hoops to portray Esther's behavior as pristine.
UOJ, I assume you have no problem with the shita that a goylem was sent to bed with Melech A? There were surely enough bekiyim around in those days in Sefer Yetzira that they could make it happen.
ReplyDeleteRonnie also missed a point there with his list of "desperate housewives". The Megilla speaks of Zeresh vechol oyhavav. The Midrash says they were a group of swingers just hanging out to have sex.
The courts website is now saying that the purpose of Kolko's date with the judge today was a continuation of the arraignment. What takes so long to wrap that up? There are no other details posted yet.
ReplyDeleteUOJ-Your honesty is like a breath of fresh air. You enhance my religious beliefs even though I'm a skeptic.
ReplyDeleteAnon 6:58,
ReplyDeleteThe only "Goylem" I know in the literal sense is Yudi Kolko for not running off to Iraq when he could.

ReplyDeleteWell, The Pearl does contain a rather graphic take on the Megillah.

ReplyDeleteA may have missed something when I learned this. Pray tell where u got that Mordechai GAVE Esther to the king's harem?
What's the Pearl??

No, I don't have a copy. Some folks I babysat for as a teen had it. The couple eventually divorced - probably because he was twisted. They also had a copy of Justine by de Sade.

ReplyDeleteI sampled out a UOJ 'law enforcement' hat and put it up on my shopping cart (I am so happy I got that cart up and running, it makes things so much easier).
Here's the link to the item:

I'm pricing it at $18.00 retail with 10% going to tzedakah. Payments accepted via Paypal including plastic. (If PM wants to set me up with a free merchant account, great. In lieu of that I'll continue to use Paypal). I'll contact Rebbitzen Schwab in the morning. She operates a gemach and is the closest thing to a tomchei shabbas that I know about here in town. If that doesn't pan out, the 10% will go to Yad Ezra, the local kosher food pantry, a 501c3 non-profit.
Have the Baltimore guy contact me at autothreads@sbcglobal.net about large quantities.
Let me know if I should mock up a display ad for the blog homepage, specifically what pixel size.
Thanks for letting me do this. Nothing wrong with making an honest living.

And tell Mr. Klien that if he dosn't want the world to know of his own shenanigins he should lay off supporting this molesters cause or I'll hang his dirty laudry and the ongoing accusations about stealing from old man Tennenbaum and the nursing home shtick for all to see.

UOJ,
ReplyDeleteI could remember nowhere in the Megillah, aggadata or meforshim where Mordechai "gave" Esther to the harem. The only other place I've heard this is from an official in the Conservative movement. It's clear that Esther was taken against her will. I spent a good part of last night discussing this with talmidei chochomim. The only time that Mordechai facilitated anything was at the end to plead against the gezairas Haman. I'm told R' Nosson Wachtfogel has a lengthy shtickel Torah to explain it. Bekitzur nimratz, since Esther had to go anyway in 30 days, there was no issur and even a chiyuv to go earlier for pikuach nefesh of the gantze klal. The only taynos on Mordechai were that he was osek to much with the malchus and was mevatel from learning. There is a dikduk on groyse mentchen kechut hasaara and any other tayna would have been mentioned eons ago. It's pretty specious for anyone to come along in 2007 and find a new fault. COnsider that perhaps you are so outraged by corruption and sheker that you sometimes think you see it where it doesn't exist.
You guys need a jingle to go along with wearing those UOJ / FBI outfits.
ReplyDeleteRemember when I started that catchy song & dance about Mario Cuomo that millions of people started saying? It was even sung by 400 Satmar chevra tsuzamen at the Shomrim dinner in Williamsburg. Cuomo later publicly blamed me for losing the election.
It went "Mario azendemay, du zay provinoss sfacim. And he is!"
So how about: "Neuhoff, hert tzu, du bist a Bungalow Putz. And he is!"
Ronnie,
ReplyDeleteDo you have those official looking windbreakers in the works?

I think Yeshivishe nudnik refuted u in a most eloquent and respectful manner. Your charges at Mordechai HaTzaddik are baseless and impossible to corroborate. I think u aught come clean in public right here or show us your cards. A statement such as the one u made about the authenticity of the megilah story refutes and contradicts your defensive statement that "My intent is NOT to denigrate our religion; certain things are best left unsaid."
You stated something (in support of scholar)of ultimate apikorses at worst or misguided thought at best and as u stated countless times, nobody can claim infallability and apologies are a virtue. If your statement cannot be proven than your attack was unwarranted and should be rescinded.
I learned alot from u and recieved great words of comfort from you privately and would like to maintain the high regard I now have for u. It is for this concern that I hold you so accountable for every statement u make. Please set the record on this so we may move on to the issues of the day.
With the utmost respect,
a recepient of your kindness
LVF, I'll leave that to others. I got the address off of the invitations the shmuck sent to all of ger in america.

ReplyDeleteNudnik & Friend,
ReplyDeleteTo answer your kushya with another; if a person is faced with a choice of picking one out of two people to be killed, is one permitted to choose that person?
Mordecai l'fi all shitos "turned Esther in" to the melech, knowing full-well what was coming. Of course he could have waited until they "picked her up".
If Mordecai was indeed married to her, (which could very well be the case) he was m'chuyev to protect her from being "boel" by the king and hide her, not turn her over.
I do not want to get sidetracked here, gilu arayos(if she was married) is y'harog v'al yaavor.
One man's opinion.
UOJ,
