The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office (criminal) filed an indictment in the city district court against Yoel Cohen (40) from Bnei Brak for rape, sodomy and indecent assault on a minor, who worked with him.
The indictment, filed by attorney Naama Gutman Zakai, states that from the beginning of 2018 and for about six months, the defendant committed sexual offenses against the complainant, who was then a 15.5-year-old minor.
On a number of different occasions the defendant instructed the complainant to come to different places in their work compound, then touched her or instructed her to touch him. In addition, during the period, the defendant ordered the complainant to come to his apartment several times, due to fear of the defendant, the complainant complied with his request.
On one occasion after ordering her to go to the mikve, she came to his apartment then ordered her to lie on the bed in the nursery and raped her, telling her: "A man is allowed, when the woman is pure a man can do whatever he wants."
In another case the defendant opened the door with only a towel covering his lower body, instructed the complainant to enter the bedroom and committed an act of sodomy on her. When the defendant noticed that the complainant was crying, he told her: "What are you crying about? You did nothing, you will not get pregnant, you do not have to tell your parents."
In the request for detention submitted at the same time, Advocate. Gutman Zakai stated that: .
