The real idiots are the ones who fall for Trump's shtick every time.
How many times before the ceasefire did Trump make statements that seemed like he was abandoning Israel? Especially in the run-up to the attack on Iran? And every time - every single one - it was a ruse. And every time the pundits shouting "See! Trump is betraying Israel! We told you so!"
It's the same here. The same as his "Canada is the 51st state!" comments. Trump is transactional. He walks into a room with an outrageous demand and then when you give him 25% of what he asked for (which is what he really wanted in the first place), you think you outnegotiated him! Woo hoo!
