No, I can understand this. I watched a few and found myself tapping my foot along with the singing and guitars and then thought "This is Selichos. This is supposed to be serious. We're standing before God and asking him for forgiveness for our sins and we're dancing happily while doing it?"

We’re the cohanim and levites not serious when they played their instruments in the Holy Temple, The Bais Hamikdosh. They played their musical instruments during Temple prayers and rituals. Why can’t we use musical instruments in our time as was used in centuries past? Ignorance abounds in the world of chareidism.
